Belmont Stakes & Triple Crown Past Postings

There is no better day in racing than Belmont Stakes day with the Triple Crown trophy in the house at Belmont Park. California Chrome will run to become number twelve and I will be among the expected 100,000 plus fans at Belmont trying to root him home on Saturday. It’s going to be a great and, hopefully, memorable day of racing in New York.
I had the opportunity to write two pieces for CBS Local about the big race. You can read them here:

How I’d Bet $100 on the Belmont Stakes
If you are looking for additional reading material as we countdown to 6:50 p.m. post time, here are some Triple Crown related articles I have published over the years:

My Grandfather was John Sloan. I love reading about his architecture. My mother Ruth Sloan Gimbernat loved the races! Any articles you may have about my Grandfather would be greatly appreciated! Many Thanks.
