Enjoy your website. The best about the old days,pre 1940. Your story on Luke Blackburn brought to life a great horse long forgotten. And Mike’s programs add so much to the stories. Keep it up. My the way, in my youth, I saw the great Swaps, Round Table, and Gallant Man run. Yeah, we west coast guys are partial to Swaps.
i enjoy your site from time to time and i thought you might be interested in the link that follows. it is a picture of chatham square circa 1905. what make the picture interesting is that it shows advertising posters from Belmont’s inaugural season.
